Kawartha Helical Piles was founded by Jeff Stewart in 2020 to fill a gap in the region. As he neared the end of his contract as the Controller of Facility Services for the local school board, Jeff was looking for something new and exciting to start working on.
When his in-laws needed helical piles for a new deck, they were told it would take over 8 weeks for someone to come from away to install the piers. Jeff started investigating and learned about the many benefits of helical piles over traditional foundations. With no other independent companies in the region, he rolled up his sleeves and the rest is history.
Jeff Stewart is the owner of Kawartha Helical Piles. He is a licensed helical pile installer who has forged a productive relationship with Almita, the leading North American provider of geo-structural solutions. With a wealth of building experience in both residential and commercial applications, and a commitment to customer service, Jeff is on his way to making Kawartha Helical Piles the first call for contractors and homeowners whenever a strong foundation is needed.

Our product is installed underground, where customers can’t see it for themselves. You can count on us. We’ll bill you only for the number of piles and extensions that we use.
Honesty
If we think a pile application isn’t right for your site, we’ll tell you straight-up. We offer customers our insight and perspectives based on our knowledge base and building experience.
Integrity
If we hit bedrock or face other problems that prevent us from getting the piles in the ground securely, that’s our cost not yours. We won’t charge you for applications that we can’t install.
